Last night, New Brand Wrestling (NBW) returned to their home at the Ellice Theatre after the Comic-Con. Let's get to what happened on tonight's card.

Opening Contest: Nacho Slurpee vs. ''Misfit'' Mike Mission - Both men shake hands before the bell. Mission delivers an armdrag into an armbar and next, he bodyslams Nacho. Nacho delivers lefts and rights but Mike takes him down with a clothesline followed by a brainbuster suplex and a Vader Bomb for the win.

Match #2 - Madman Muir vs. Sydney Manson - Muir attacks Manson before the bell and chokes him. This is followed by a thrust and an irishwhip to the corner but Manson moves and runs Muir's leg into the ringpost. Next, Sydney dropkicks Madman to the head followed by a double axhandle outside, but Madman recovers by ramming Manson into the ringpost and steps on his back. Manson recovers with 2 headbutts but Muir manages to ram him into the ringsteps. Manson recovers but Madman catches him til Manson runs his shackles that he wore out to the ring into Muir. Muir grabs something from under the ring while the referee wasn't looking. Next, Muir bites Manson on the head. At this point the fight gets taken outside the ring. Once order was restored, Madman distracted the referee and whacked Manson with the cookie sheet for the win.

Match #3 - Mid-Canadian Heavyweight Title Match - Samuel vs. Leo London - Samuel attacks the champ before the bell and rams him into the wall. Leo comes back but Samuel counters with a headbutt and an elbow followed by a kick to the gutt and the bell hadn't rang yet. Collins counters with a rollup and gets a 2. Walker continues with a bodyslam and 2 elbows while taunting the fans. As he tries a third elbow, Bobby rolls out of the way. This prompted the Rebel to go right to work on Walker by stomping on the hands and raking the back, but somehow Walker managed to pull Bobby outside the ring. Back inside, Collins comes off the ropes with a legdrop to the back of the head but as the referee made the count, Walker put his foot on the ropes. Therefore, the match had to continue. When it did, Walker took the easy way out and Collins got the win via countout. After the match, Collins got on the mic saying ''That was not a win in my books. Random Thoughts By The Master Blogger Part 6

You know, after what has transpired this week, I felt like I was left with no choice but to come here and say a few things. You know tonight, I was supposed to go to PCW's Road Rage at the Roadhouse Eatery but I didn't want to take a chance because of the weather but enough of that.

As I sat at my laptop the night I was typing up my last review from the SPW show, I got a lot of people on that card that liked my review. In the days that followed that show, I was seriously considering walking away from it all for good come end of December but I had this ongoing question that wouldn't go away. The question was: What would happen if I turned the future of my blog into the hands of someone else that I knew it would be a big mistake because:
a) that anonymous person would not write as good as me
b) that person would need training
c) that person whoever it is would probably be biased

and I for one as Mike Arnott put it, I am the only unbiased source of information when it comes to Winnipeg Wrestling. Whether you like me, love me, hate me, whether you agree with me or disagree with me you have to admit I put a lot of effort into those write ups show after show and I always give each promotion whether it's PCW, RCW, CWE a shining light of positivity. So I guess that answers that question. I will not quit!!!

Onto another subject, on December 16, the Canadian Crime Spree Spyder makes his return to wrestling and I feel sorry for anybody getting in the ring with him. I cannot wait for this!!!

Now, onto something else, I get a lot of guys who read my blog and they give me great compliments ie: Madman Muir, Buddy Wiser, Vinny Valliant, Cory Diamond, Billy Blaze, JP Kaos, Playboy Will Damon, etc. Now with that being said, I am curious to know your opinions of my work. So what do you think. Confidence or no confidence?

This prompts Shawn to tag in Mike who attemptws a bulldog but misses. Cliff tags in Reggie who chokes Mission but misses a shot. AOD/CWE Presents A Rumble To Remember Results

Tonight AOD/CWE presented A Rumble To Remember at the Polish Fraturnal Hall. Now tonight featured a 50 Man Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for the CWE Heavyweight Title. Enough jibber jabber, here are the results from the Master Blogger.

Opening Contest: Tag Team Action - Big Sexy Beasts (AJ Sanchez & Kevy Chevy) vs. North Of 60 (Big Jess Youngblood & Kato ''The Asian Assassin) - Chevy decks a kick from the Asian Assassin but gets put in an armbar. Chevy reverses it as Kato puts Chevy in a headlock but gets taken down with a shoulderblock and gets pitched backwards over the head. Chevy tags in Sanchez and together they sandwich the North Of 60 but Jess kicks out at 2. AJ chops Big Jess twice and rams his head into the turnbuckle but only gets a 2. Kevy chops Big Jess and irishwhips him to the buckle but misses in the corner. Jess headbutts Chevy and tags in Kato for a double suplex only to have Chevy kick out at two. The Asain Assassin tosses Chevy to the outside. Back inside, North Of 60 deliver a wishbone as Jess puts Kevy in a headlock. Chevy comes back with a sunset flip but only gets a 2. Kevy puts the boot up and announces: ''I'm going up!!''. Except when this happens, Chevy misses a moonsault and falls victim to a Big Jess Youngblood spear for a 2. In comes the Asian Assassin Kato and they both chop him but Chevy finally manages to tag in AJ who was all fired up. AJ delivers a hurricanranna and then dives over the top rope onto everyone on the outside. The Big Sexy Beasts deliver a move which was a combination of a backbreaker and a hurricanranna to Kato but it was broken up by Jess. Chevy powerbombs Kato and they deliver their finishing move for the win.

Match #2 - 123Approved.ca Open Rules Title Match - Tyler Colton vs. Moses Luke - Tyler chose a Bodyslam Challenge as the stipulation. Now this in my opinion was a laugh. Colton attempts to slam the big 400 pounder but Luke blocks it and gives him a headbutt but Tyler comes back but gets taken down again with a chop. Tyler comes back with chops of his own as well as rights and lefts but as he attempts a slam again, Moses falls atop him but Tyler kicks out at 2. Colton delivers a shot and again tries to slam and yet again, Moses blocks it. Moses missed in the corner which prompted Tyler to deliver a chop and finally a slam but of course, the referee never saw it. Moses delivers a TKO for the win.

Match #3 - CWE Tag Team Title Match - Bobby Sharp & Bucky Briggs vs. Team Impact - Conspicuous by her absence was Team Impact's valet Lacey. Impact attack the challengers from the opening bell but Sharp double clotheslines both champions and slams Robby before tagging in Bucky who with Sharp doubleteam ATM but only gets a 2 count. Robby falls victim to an armdrag by Briggs who tags in Bobby. Once in, Sharp delivers a suplex to Royce for a 2. In comes Anderson Tyson who suplexes Bucky and then slams Bobby and runs him to the boot of Robby. Next, ATM delivers forearms to the side of the head and throws Sharp to the outside. Sharp gets back in, but only gets pinned for a 2 count. Sharp comes back with a DDT on Royce and tags in Briggs but falls victim to a High Times (or whatever that move is called) for a 2 count. Team Impact doubleteam Bucky, but Briggs comes back only to gety repeated shots from ATM. Impact deliver a high risk move but only get a 2. Robby puts on a headlock but Bucky comes back for a 2. Bucky manages to tag in Sharp who sends Robby to the outside. Bobby delivers a Michinoku Driver to ATM. Robby sends Briggs to the outside so that they could get the pin on Sharp for the win.

Match #4 - CWE Heavyweight Title Match -Mentallo puts Metal in an armbar but Heavy reverses it. A collar elbow tie up to the corner and the champ delivers a chop to the challenger til the challenger reverses it and rams his head into the turnbuckle til Mentallo puts up the elbow. Mentallo delivers a kick to the gutt and several knees followed by a headbutt til Metal recovers with a hiptoss but as Heavy went up top, Mentallo pushes the referee into the ropes. This allowed Mentallo to deliver a dropkick with Metal turned upside down. On the outside Mentallo rammed a chair into the challenger followed by a dropkick with the chair in Metal's face. As Mentallo tried a legdrop into the ring, he missed. This prompted Metal to come back but only got a 2 count. Heavy delivered a tilt-a-whirl but again gets a 2. Mentallo delivers 2 backkicks followed by a back suplex but again gets a 2. Metal chops Mentallo and gives him a clothesline followed by a double underhook suplex but only gets a 2. Mentallo lands on his feet after a superplex attempt by Metal and delivers a moonsault for the win.

Vinnie Valiant Promo - Vinnie was asking the fans how their Halloween was and if they got any candy. Out comes Daemon Marxx who attacks him from behind. He challenges Vinnie for later that night.

Opening Contest - Reaper w/The Emporer Of Evil vs. ''The Rebel'' Bobby Collins - Reaper backs Bobby to the corner and delivers shoulders but Collins comes back with a knee. A clothesline in the corner but Collins comes back with shoulders til Reaper puts the boot up but Bobby kicks out at 2. Bobby delivers a monkey flip as well as a superkick but Reaper grabs the ropes. Next, Buddy Wiser comes out to distract the referee. This prompted Reaper to get the win with a spear.

A kick to the gutt as well as a legdrop but Big Gulp kicks out at 2. Finally, a small package and Big Gulp scores the win. Dick clotheslines him after the match.

Match #3 - Marc Merric w/Aurora Love vs. Nacho Slurpee - Before the match the two engaged in a popularity contest (borring) with Merric slapping Nacho in the face followed by a kick to the gutt and an elbow. Nacho puts Marc in an armbar but Marc reverses it. This is followed by an irishwhip to the buckle and a jawbreaker followed by a knee but he only got a 2. Slurpee recovers for a bit but only gets a 2. Merric drops Slurpee and delivers a rolling snapmare followed by a kick to the back and gets the win. After the match, Dick Walker comes in and they both doubleteam Nacho til Mr. Big Gulp makes the save.

Intermission - several wrestlers came out to sign autographs.

Match #4 - Tag Team Action - Dirty Dick Walker & Mean Marc Merric w/Aurora Love vs. Team 24/7 - I am going to call the team of Merric & Walker Rough & Ready. So it was Rough & Ready vs. Team 24/7: Nacho Slurpee & Mr. Big Gulp. Now this match was made prior to the previous match Nacho takes The Dirty One down with a shoulderblock but Dick reverses it and tags in Merric who gets slammed twice. Next, that little five letter word that rhymes with witch Aurora Love distracts the referee. (Aurora if you are reading this, that is not me in real life) Anyway, when this happens Walker delivers a back elbow and chokes Slurpee with his boot. A powerslam by Dirty Dick is only a 2 count. Walker tags Marc. Marc takes Nacho over with a snapmare. This caused all 4 men to go at it. In the end, Rough & Ready take the win.

Match #5 - RCW Championship Match - Daemon Marxx vs. Vinnie Valiant - Valiant slaps Marxx in the back of the head. Both men begin with a test of strength with Daemon getting the upperhand. Vinnie recovers with an armdrag and a dropkick. At this point, Marxx calls a timeout with the fans chanting chicken, chicken, chicken. Marxx trips Vinnie and rams his head into the mat followed by a kick to the head and a clip to the leg followed by a legthrough move. Vinnie fires back with a kick to the back of the head of Daemon followed by 3 shoulders and a monkey flip. Daemon recovers with a dropkick and clips the knee again. Vinnie bounces back with a DDT and a sunset flip but only gets a 2 count. A jawbreaker by Marxx puts Valiant down, this is followed by a suplex but Vinnie kicks out at 2. Vinnie tries a rollup but only gets a 2 count. As Marxx tries to set Valiant up for the Exclamation Point, Vinnie lands on his feet, gives him a superkick and other moves but because of the pain in Vinnie's knee, he goes down. Daemon chops Valiant but Vinnie comes back with a clothesline and a spinning kick. As Vinnie tried his 450 Splash, Marxx rolled out of the way, Vinnie lands on his feet and Daemon delivers a low blow causing the match to end via Disqualification. Because a title cannot change hands via dq, still RCW Champion, Vinnie Valiant.

Main Event - Indian Strap Match - ''Bad Boy'' Buddy Wiser vs. Billy Blaze -Both men took turns whipping each other with the strap with Wiser getting the upperhand. Buddy chokes Blaze with the strap and clotheslines him with it followed by repeated punches with it. Billy fights back and this time it was Wiser's turn to get whipped. Blaze chops Wiser with the strap and delivers a jumping kick followed by the Blaze Of Glory. Billy had already touched 2 corners of the ring, followed by a third but as he was going for the final turnbuckle, Wiser stopped him. Now it was Buddy's turn to touch the corners. He already touched 2 but as he got to the third turnbuckle, Billy pulled him back. On the outside, Billy rammed Buddy into the ringpost as the fans counted 1-2-3. Blaze continues whipping Buddy but he accidentally hits the referee. At this point, Buddy rams Blaze into the ringpost. Back inside the ring, Billy flung Wiser across the ring. This prompted Billy to touch 2 corners of the ring followed by the third. But as he was going for the fourth trying to end the match, Buddy tripped him. Next, Bad Boy choked Billy with the strap and suplexed him back into the ring for good measure. This prompted Buddy to touch 2 corners of the ring, followed by the third. As he got to the final turnbuckle, Blaze stops him with a back suplex. Billy touches 2 corners, followed by the third and finally after a Death Valley Driver, Blaze touches the fourth corner getting the win. After the match Reaper comes into the ring and spears Blaze.

Merc & Walker doubleteam Cory but only get a 2 count. Cory takes Dirty Dick down with a clothesline. A middle rope elbow followed by 3 closed fists til Scott recovers with a superkick and a clothesline followed by a legdrop and a splash. He runs Jackie to the top turnbuckle but only gets a 2 count. A dropkick to the knee but Jackie recovers til Scott puts on the Southern Cross submission hold. Jackie grabs the ropes but then Justice drags him to the middle of the ring forcing Jackie to tap out giving fall one to Scott Justice. Scott and Jackie trade kicks with Jackie getting the upperhand.
